Would a heat pump be cheaper than my gas boiler? I'll send my gas bills (photos or PDFs; ideally 12 months, but use what I have). From each, read the dates, kWh, unit rate and standing charge. Work out what the same heat would have cost from an air-source heat pump at today's electricity prices (price cap and a heat-pump tariff like Cosy Octopus), only over the dates my bills cover. Never scale part of a year up; say when it's a part-year figure. Show it with and without the gas standing charge, list assumptions and mention the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
